Want to work for one of the fastest growing commercial millwork and installation companies in the U.S Prusak’s Precision Construction, a highly respected fabrication and installation firm, is seeking a Specialty Fixture & Millwork Project Manager to lead a team of skilled craftsmen on projects for some of the largest names in the commercial retail industry.
Summary
The Specialty Fixture & Millwork Project Manager collaborates with clients to understand their goals and develop comprehensive project plans that that align with their objectives. Reporting to the General Manager, this role oversees the entire construction process, from scope development to on-site facilitation and budget management. The ideal candidate will possess excellent planning and organizational skills, effectively communicate, direct, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and have a proven track record of meeting deadlines in the fast-paced commercial construction industry.
Pay
$80,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
based on level of experience

Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple congruent projects, coordinating with general contractors to secure the necessary workers, materials and resources needed for each job
- Provide clients and stakeholders with regular status reports and document project progress, preemptively addressing potential issues with the client.
- Manage budgets, team workloads, inventory tools and equipment and conduct regular site checks to review progress and keep projects running smoothly
- Study blueprints and drawings ahead of the project to determine which materials are needed for projects and properly setup jobsites
- Coordinate on-site projects with subcontractors/vendors. Develop action plan for lead to minimize confusion. Provide clear direction from drawings via field calls.
- Estimating, writing proposals and creating budgets
- Ensure crews follow all rules and health and safety regulations on the jobsite

Experience & Qualifications
- Construction Management: 3+ years of direct experience with a strong grasp of finish carpentry, installation techniques, and technical aspects.
- Specialty Projects: Deep understanding of specialty fixture and millwork projects, including specifications, materials, site preparation, and installation methods.
- Project Lifecycle: Highly skilled in all phases of construction project management, from vision to closeout.
- Planning & Execution: Able to develop prioritized action plans and objectives, create and manage schedules, and oversee daily operations.
- SOW & Troubleshooting: Expertise in preparing and managing Statements of Work (SOWs), troubleshooting issues, and providing comprehensive communication and updates.
- Site Completion: Proficient at conducting final site reviews and ensuring SOW completion.
- Project Organization: Proven ability to organize and prioritize timelines, budgets, and team schedules across multiple projects. Experienced in creating and managing costs for commercial construction projects.
- Communication & Relationships: Effective at building relationships and communicating clearly and concisely with teams, vendors, and clients.
- Problem-Solving: Outstanding problem-solving skills, including identifying potential issues, developing strategies, and providing solutions.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient with Microsoft Office and experienced with project management software.
- Building Codes: Knowledge of local, state, and federal building code regulations.
- Drug-Free Workplace: Must remain drug-free. Drug screening is standard for all potential hires, with ongoing screening possible throughout employment.
- Education: High school diploma or GED certificate required. Additional continued education (trade schools, certificates, related degree) is a plus.
- Certifications: OSHA 10 or 30 certificate is a plus.
