New Client Work & Quarterly Project Forecast
The upcoming quarter is looking strong with a robust schedule across construction, preservation, and door services. Construction will be busy with key projects across multiple locations for major retail clients like Alo, Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, and West Elm, as well as an Apple store installation in August. The preservation team is maintaining a consistent pace with five projects scheduled monthly across several regional markets, including a return to California in August for the first time since 2020. The door services division continues to operate at capacity, with three full-time technicians managing steady demand for replacements and frame repairs throughout the three-month period. While September is anticipated to be slightly slower for preservation due to new product launches, overall operational momentum remains high.
Project Highlight
Successful Restoration Hardware Pilot Project in Raleigh
The preservation team recently marked a significant milestone with the completion of a pilot project for Restoration Hardware at their Raleigh, NC location. The scope involved refinishing white oak elevator panels, successfully transitioning the original wax finish to a high-performance, water-based topcoat for enhanced durability. This initiative, led by Clint, Podmore, and Thanh, addressed significant local team frustration regarding previous maintenance requirements and was received with high enthusiasm. This successful execution establishes a strong foundation for a potential long-term preservation partnership with Restoration Hardware moving forward.
